Serenity Hair was founded in 2013 by hairstylist Tenneil Day, beginning as a humble home-based salon. With 20 years of experience in the industry, Tenneil is a master cutter and colourist with a deep passion for all things hair. She thrives on creating transformative looks that bring confidence and joy to her clients.
Beyond the salon chair, Tenneil is dedicated to hair education, constantly upskilling and sharing her knowledge to mentor and inspire her team. Her commitment to excellence and creativity is at the heart of everything she does.
JORJA
Senior Stylist & Blonde Specialist
Jorja began her hairdressing journey right here at Serenity Hair and, over the past five years, has grown into an incredible senior stylist. Known for her down-to-earth nature and genuine care for her clients,
Jorja takes the time to understand your hair goals and works her magic to bring them to life. As our resident blonde specialist, she has a keen eye for creating flawless, customized blonde tones—from lived-in balayage to bright, dimensional blondes. With Jorja, you’re always in expert hands!

With six years of experience and two years as part of the Serenity Hair family, Breanna is an all-rounder stylist who brings skill, energy, and warmth to every appointment. Her fun-loving personality and family-oriented nature make her a joy to be around, ensuring every client feels welcome and cared for.

CHAYNE
Senior Stylist
Chayne is our go-to for beautifully effortless blondes, specialising in lived-in colour, balayage, and hair extensions. Her calm and gentle nature creates a relaxing experience for every guest, and her attention to detail shows in her seamless, natural results. She takes the time to understand each client’s hair goals, tailoring every appointment to enhance their natural beauty while ensuring longevity and ease of maintenance.

CHERINDA
Salon Assistant
Cherinda is our friendly salon assistant who helps keep Serenity Hair running smoothly. You’ll find her in the salon on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, ready to greet you with a warm smile.
From answering calls and welcoming clients to preparing tea and coffee, Cherinda ensures every visit is a comfortable and relaxing experience. When it comes to shampooing, her amazing scalp massages are a client favourite — adding a touch of luxury to your salon experience!
LAURA
Senior Stylist & Balayage Queen
With 11 years of experience in the industry and four years as a valued member of the Serenity Hair team, Laura brings both skill and passion to every appointment. She’s known for her beautifully blended balayage and loves creating dynamic colours that turn heads. Laura’s warm and intuitive nature means she’ll happily chat away or offer a peaceful, relaxing experience—whatever makes her clients feel most comfortable. With her expertise and attention to detail, you’ll leave the salon feeling refreshed and looking your absolute best.
